Woah!!
Franklin to Topeka. Long drive but pretty exciting. Stopped for a few hours in St. Louis (Pictures to come) and the arc is awesome. Several good things to share, but you need pics too, so I'm off to Highlands Ranch tomorrow. Should arrive late afternoon so I'll have all evening to update and bring you along. (It is so good to have you with me. )

After dinner scotch and prepare to depart tomorrow for parts out west. It's been great and continues to gooder and gooder. (Yes, as a matter of fact I do think that is proper english)!

Day 3 in Franklin
Late morning and loving it. Quite time on the deck and catching up with "me". Went to the Farmers market and how much fun was that. Young, old, fat, skinny, bald, and everybody with their dogs. Lots of fruit and veggies and everything was presented to make one starve. We got our basket and came home to peace and quite. Randy helped me work on learing how to blog and I suppose it worked some. Awesome dinner with grilled chicken, corn on the cob, asparagas, and home made sausa to knock your socks off.
Heading out to see a home town production of "Jesus Christ, Superstar" and I am fired up. I will complete this later tonight as I think about "you" and wish you were here.
Great production at the local "Boiler Room Theater".. My first view of this particular play and it was inspiring.

Day 2 / Franklin TN
From Clinton to Franklin was a heckuva trip. Some rain, some sun, plenty smiles. Randy greeted me with open arms and then we met Cindy and Katy at Arrington Vineyards, (http://www.arringtonvineyards.com/), (aren't you jealous) and had dinner and wine (Red Fox Red) to celebrate Randy's b'day. Kix Brooks, (Brooks and Dunn) is a partner in this vineyard and as you can see it's a lovely place to hang, meet, and eat. Temp in the 70's and the countryside is so peaceful. Met a couple from Ole Miss and they were a hoot. Lot's of friendly banter and all is well in Tennessee.
Day "1" Let's get started
Let's start this journey in Baton Rouge eating lunch at Ralph and Kacoo's with Trudi, Colleen & Alton, and Reba. We sent a photo of hush puppies to Toni and she was jealous. Great time was had by all. I picked up 20# of boudin to take to Toni to soothe the savage beast upon arrival in Denver. Then the second part of the first leg was spent with Pam and Ernie in Clinton, MS. Ate some of Toni's boudin and spent some quality time chatting with Scotch in hand. Good nite. I'll update tomorrow.
