Next Stop

As I watch Katakolon fade into the sunset and savor my “Nail”, I think of Athens tomorrow.. We’ve had a wonderful, clear, “shorts”, day and have relaxed every minute of it. No tours today. Many workers were off today so that they could vote. Plus, the only thing worth seeing was where the Olympics were started. (Only ruins. I’m a ruin enough, so I skipped it.) Bought another small bag so that I wouldn’t pay another “overage” fee at the airport on my return to the good ole USA, and a few souvenirs, then came back to the Princess to wash clothes. (Yes, that still has to happen) Hope you enjoy the photos. The ole Man by the Sea was special. We were having some calamari and he just walked up to get some fish off his boat. Sonny might think this a wonderful “Photo Op”. Hope so. Will take lots of photos tomorrow in Athens I hope and will share asap.
Enjoy!!!!

  2. I remember thinking that there wasn't too much to see in Katakalon - sounds like you had the same experience. We had planned for it to be a 'go to the beach day', but when we got there and discovered the 'beach', we changed our mind, walked the small town a bit, had a snack and a drink or two, and then went back to the ship and enjoyed the pool, etc. on board. I agree - the photo of you on your balcony says it all!
